*Ding Ding Ding* MATCH ENDS April 25, 2011 Midnight PST!
In this corner, weighing in at never-gonna-tell, meet me, Ammmbeer Rockiiiiin Scott.
Yeah, that’s right. Rockin’. Today that’s exactly what WE are gonna do–rock Cristyn West’s world when you, me and every soul we know comes and comments here today!
You see, this week isn’t about picking the best read or the favorite author. It’s about which author can earn the most relevant comments and claim the Championship title.
And honestly, thank Chocolate for that because there are some seriously talented and amazing authors you’ll score FREE ebooks from this week. 10 in total!
We’ll have controversy with Monogamy Sucks (does it?) and A Walk In The Snark (#ManCode much?). We’ll have depth and honesty with reads like Bits of You & Pieces of Me. There are even two–count ‘em, two–award-winners in the ring! Who? Not telling, but if you hunt, you’ll easily find out.
Not that I doubt Fierce Dawn will win your heart and imagination. Its reviews prove #itshallhookyou.
Yes, I admit that my opponent’s read is so good it kept me up all night reading it…and then peeking in the dark hoping I still looked blonde in shadows. Brunettes beware is right!
But since the point to all this is FUN, I’ll try to stable my competitive streak and focus on the party part.
Did I hear someone yell PRIZES? Yes?
#asyouwish
1. Comment for your instant win of an ebook copy of Fierce Dawn telling me what superpower you’d pick if YOU became a human changeling. Don’t forget to include your email address!
2. (US residents, please.) The contents of my goodie bag are top secret. I can tell you this: You will feel spoiled and beautiful (or handsome.)
3. EVERY relevant comment counts as an entry toward the KINDLE!!!! So, the more you talk, the more YOU and I will ROCK!

I haven’t read Fierce Dawn yet. (It’s next on my TBR list) But, if it’s anything like Amber’s other books, I’m sure I’m going to love it! 🙂
Hey Jessica! Thanks for coming over and helping me throw down! Hope your blogaversary is rockin’!
I haven’t read Fierce Dawn yet but from what I’ve read about it, I can’t wait. I LOVE paranormal romance. Good Job, Amber!
Righteous! There’s a character named Holly in it, too! Thanks for commenting1
Hmmm if I could pick a superpower it would have to be superspeed! I could get so much done in so little time and have the rest of the day to read! 🙂
I want that power!! Getting more done? SOLD!
Thanks for commenting, Martha!
Heh. Be a CEO, you can have someone do your laundry (like a 13 yo grandson) and you’ll know where the chocolate is too.
Heh. If I could add just one new super power, it would be:
Super Marketing
Not just the usual Seth Godin super marketing, but the type that reaches into the Universe, effective with aliens too.
-Steve Clark
CEO Heart Press
I’ll sample that power. Or, feel free to use your powers for good and help a chick out, eh? Thanks for all the comments!!!
Speed is good, Super Marketing provides funds to buy what you need. 😉
Superspeed like this commenting system? Check! Keyboard flying, Check!
On Fire!!
Uhhh, no. Coughing, wheezing, well yea, my allergies certainly are. Who knew Oahu could have sooo many blooming plants & bushes in the Spring?
Can not being hungry count as a superpower? (I haven’t had breakfast yet, I have my priorities straight!) No? Ok… um… I’m going to go with Telekenisis, the lazy persons best friend! 😀
Hi, Lisa! Um…if your hunger made you ferocious, yep, I vote it does count! Telekenisis is rather awesome, though. Decisions, decisions, right?
Hunger, Chocolate, yep that works; like Super Marketing.
There are too many to choose from! Can we just have a superpower that would be to have all superpowers? I might get a little confused though…
I totally forgot to leave my email earlier. baffledbooksATgmailDOTcom Good luck! 🙂
Go for it. Just make sure one doesn’t get in the way of the other. You read a person’s mind but then your clone teleports to your firepower house….
Personally, I think it’s not much of a contest putting a paranormal romance up against an FBI criminal thriller. I’m not a fan of that genre at ALL. On the other hand, paranormal romances are right up my alley.
I haven’t read Fierce Dawn yet, but I did win a copy of it in one of your contests. It’s on my list to read, and I’m looking forward to it.
Hah! I’m with you. I’m all about the paranormal. Light, dark, historical. I’m in. Thanks for commenting! What’s your fave paranormal read this year?
Thus far, Heart Press is all about what people do to each other, human types, no powers, just the Human Condition.
Sounds like a great book! I love when many elements are put together to make one great book! Romance, paranormal, suspense. You just can’t go wrong!
Message left with A Tale of Many Reviews!!
Having trouble signing up for newsletter! Can’t get the page to work!! 😦
shannonjean14(at)gmail(dot)com
Hi Shannon,
Thank you for commenting and for the heads up about the newsletter. I hope Julie gets a few giggles today with all our comments at A Tale of Reviews.
For what superpower I would want, I must say that it would be a toss up between telepathic and telekinetic. I love the ideas of both. I do think that control would be the key.
Mind control. Oh the things I could make my husband do. Dishes…foot rubs….
Thanks for commenting and I’m with you on the control! Would you use if for good or eeeeviiil!?
eeeeevil,,, no wait. Cancel that, as CEO I already have all the control I need. 😉
Hi Amber!
I would totally pick the ability to communicate with animals as my superpower. Just think, to know the fascinating world of cats and dogs!
I all ready have a copy of Fierce Dawn *won it earlier, yay*
I commented on the review at The Bookish Snob. What an amazing review she did! I loved it!
I’m having a wee problem signing up for your newsletter, but I’ll try on Internet Explorer, I’m currently using Firefox. Will be back later… mwaahah I’m stalking your blog today!
I totally forgot to leave my email address, bad me!
shiderly77(at)yahoo.com
me too: info at heartpress dot com
Dog talker! Kitty whisperer? I love it. Would you use it to help them all find homes and the best owners ever?
Isn’t the Bookish Snob too awesome? Love her.
I’ll put you down as signed up so you don’t miss out. Technical difficulties and no coffee don’t mix!
Stalk! I love it!!
No need to Stalk, this comment system works GREAT… what we need are more writers!
I love the title of this book. If I could pick a super power it would be the ability to stop time, then I’d be able to spend hours reading and writing and still have time for everything else.
hsunderland1279 at gmail dot com
Now that is a clever power! Thanks for the compliment on the title. My friend Heather helped me think it up, in fact! There’s also a character by the same name–yours–in Fierce Dawn so it must be meant for you!
Stopping time is easy. Tell the press operator to hit the button, book fails to publish – author time STOPS.
Gulp! Fails to publish? Nooooo!
Exactly. The CEO doesn’t need the ability to stop time, or bend others to my will. Oh and we know how to lock down the chocolate too! Heh.
Hi Amber! Ok I just have one word to say…WOW Fierce Dawn kept me up all night long. #lovedit I thought Irish Moon was my favorite of your books. #noway. Fierce Dawn has taken it’s spot. Wishing you the best for Blog Tour de Force.
Super yay! So glad you enjoyed it and sorry for the lack of sleep! Let’s Rock this today!
I think I’d like to be able to fly. It would save on the cost of gas. 🙂
Yay, Fierce Dawn!
Ann Charles
Gasoline on Oahu has been well over $4.20 a gallon for REGULAR for a couple months!
I love Oahu!! Is that where you are? Giovanni’s shrimp and Ron Artiss!
Yep, on the Leeward side, in the hills near Ko Olina. Can see Waikiki & Diamond Head in the “vast” distance. Worst allergy season in 20+ years, go figure. LOL
Ah, yes. Love the little lagoons in Ko Olina. That stinks on the allergies, though. I swear by Neti-pot and Zyrtec.
I want the super power to stop time (so I can read more books).
kolists a/t gmail dt com
Now that is a good idea! I could read more, paint my toenails, write the seven books in my head, sleep, brush my teeth…..
I loved Fierce Dawn!! couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for Lyric’s story!! Your books keep getting better and better girl!
I have to say that Lyric’s story is way fun! I want to spill deets soooo bad. Okay, one little hint just for you: today’s tour theme might show up in Stealing Dusk…underground style.
Shhh!
((Watches the cage match from the corner, through fingers covering the eyes))
Stephanie
ladybug07999 at yahoo dot com
I know! It could get ugly…NO, not really. I heart Cristyn too much to slash her tires or TP her house or…hmmm. That actually sounds fun.
Rent a CEO for the job?
Shoot…with THAT cover, I don’t need a summary or blurb to convince me to read it. On my list! =) Hmmm – super power…I’d have to say I would like to be able to fly.
Sweet! Look for your copy in your inbox TODAY!!
Heh. I can give away books too – but not today during this Fight for Queen of Social Media.
So can I call you number 1 stalker today? And I mean it as a HUGE compliment!
Today, yes absolutely – if all goes well #Chickspeak Rules tomorrow. 😉
My Gravatar is broken here. ;-( but she uses Disqus #happydance
I’d FLY and have GREAT STRENGTH more powerful than a locomotive!
Flying does sound fun and like Ann Charles said, imagine the gas savings!
More sales than Seth Godin! Super Marketing
Yay, more and more comments pouring in! I am so excited… lol
Ooh superpower….I think I would like to be able to zap stuff and it be cleaned, washed, put away and done. That would be such a time saver!
Your new book sounds really interesting. Will have to add that to my TBR pile!
Good luck on your match!
Awesome! Can you come zap my laundry pile?
Consider it added! It shall reach your inbox today!
Have a 13 yo grandson in the house right now, he needs a cattle prodding every now and then, but wash & fold he must!
Good grandson! Well trained.
Transportation would be my desire! Sounds like a great book..it’s on my TBR list for sure!
mk261274 at gmail dot com
Ah! You’d be a seeker then. They have wings and can transport through space. And fly, too.
I don’t care what power I get as long as Elijah… or Lyric was my prize!! I’m all about the sexy Alpha male *le swoon*
You rock Amber! Kick book booty!
Booty kickin’ time! I’m with you on Elijah and Lyric, except Roan Slade is getting pretty delicious on me in Stealing Dusk, too…..
You have MORE??? Where… where? *goes off hunting!* LOL
Your book really looks like a great read. I would love to be able to read people’s thoughts, no telling what you could find out and also stop from happening. This is going to be fun.
Judy
magnolias_1[at]msn[dot]com
Oooo. Mind reading. The stuff you could discover!
Yea, like why your author keeps chopping out the best parts, leaving them on the editing floor – because they thought it would make their best seller better. LOL
I’d like super speed, please–maybe that way I could fit everything into a regular-length day AND have time left to spend with my TBR! Good luck, Amber!! You’re going to rock this 😀
f dot chen at comcast dot net
Thanks, Fedora! We will, we will rock her!
hi Amber! i never thought a Cage Match would be this exciting. so thrilled to be a part of it. thank you! c”,)
I’m so excited, too! And, of course! It’s so much more fun with you here!
Amber, you’re a great *cough* market.. err author – Did you catch the author who chastised a reviewer, over and over again – ie, a Customer!
How to not win friends among book bloggers!
I absolutely loved “Lust Love” and “Irish Moon”. I can’t wait to read “Fierce Dawn”.
If I had a super power, I would like the ability to communicate with animals and be able to see through their eyes while doing it.
Animals don’t seem to be troubled by human weaknesses like pride, envy etc, so I’m thinking I would be able to see the situation more clearly.
oopsie, forgot my email
dreamsgate at clearwire dot net
Got it! HOT!!
Such a good point. Imagine being able to see through the eyes of a wild stallion…
Can’t wait to hear what you think of Fierce Dawn.
Already have this – ever see an Editor’s meeting?
Oh wow, there are so many kewl superpowers to choose from – its between mind control and being able to change/shapeshift to anything/being at will with of course superpower strength. I’d want to be the master/Goddess of all – hee hee – and oh yeah, irresistible – LOL
Queentutt’s World of Escapism
http://wwwqueentuttsworldofescapism.blogspot.com
mrsqueentutt@yahoo.com
That covers all of it! Clevah gul!
Rats. This is why I want Super Marketing, there’s always something that works well. Goddess does it.
PS – I should NEVER have checked that little box that says: “Notify me of follow-up comments via email”.
HAHAHA! I love it! Every comment is bringing a wider smile to my face!!
You know, if you stop back posting like this, I’ll get less email… 😉 Not that a former IT Manager doesn’t know how to filter & delete or anything. I’m just sayin’
If i could have any power, i guess it would be teleporting i’ve always wanted to travel the world and it would be quick and cheap this way!!
“because i’m HOT”
I like the review from a tale of many reviews, she doesn’t give too much of the story away 😉
tristan210(at)live(dot)ca
Then you would be a seeker! They teleport and have wings. Elijah is a seeker. *drool*
Awesome!
Oooh I like teleporting. But I also like telekinesis (the lazy in me) I like the ParaYOURnormal review. yup yup.
parajunkee at gmail.com (I already have Fierce Dawn though) but I want you to win!!! Yeah yeah yeah.
AW! Thanks Parajunkee. You ROCK!
I like both the teles you listed. One to do laundry, the other to skip traffic. 🙂
My superpower of choice… I have no idea if there is a name for it but I’d want to be able to make protective bubbles around people/places.
My email: mariebwolf at laposte dot net
Go Amber!
Ahh, something even a jaded company man can adore! Thank you Marie, a bright light in foggy Internet.
Oh, I know what you mean! Like a shield, right? Like in the Incredibles?
or around an author’s hospital bed…
Wow, I don’t think I could choose just one superpower – maybe invisibility, with the ability to make others invisible too (to keep them out of harms way).
Go, Amber! Fierce Dawn was great – the love & fight scenes were awesome.
Thanks, Kate! I’m so pleased you enjoyed it!!
Invisibility! I hadn’t thought of that one! Fun! Hiding others is too cool, too!
Only if you’re hiding in that super hero PJ outfit.
It would be very hard to choose just one super power…I would love a combination of many powers. If I had to choose just one super power, I would want to have the ability to fly.
I forgot to include my email: carolewooten at sbcglobal dot net
Flying rocks. But feel free to combine at will! What’s the fun in just one, right?
I love every book I’ve read of yours. Can’t wait to read this one too! 🙂 It’s tough competition today. #Kicksomea$$
Tough Competition… we’ll see about that.
I want the superpower to get myself organized and do all the stuff I know I should be doing.
I was going to be a nice (OK, wimpy, chickenshit) guy and make one comment each on your blog and Cristyn’s, but I can’t figure out how to make a comment on hers. So looks like you win my vote by default. Knock ’em dead (so to speak).
Mwah ha ha haaaaa! I’ll take a vote by default, John!
See what I mean ladies, #Chickspeak must win tomorrow!
I think teleportation would have to be the greatest super power. I really hate to drive! Takes time away from reading.
christygibbon at gmail dot com
Me too! Imagine the time you can save. And gas, too!
Reading time is crucial to survival. I’m with ya.
Stephen King says in “On Writing” that writers must first be readers. 🙂
I loved Irish Moon and cannot WAIT to read Fierce Dawn! Why? Oh yea, Because I’m HOT!
Hope you knock Crystin West’s socks off!
OH and superpower: telekinesis. SO the laundry would do and fold itself.
Frickin’ GENIUS!
Wooowee! That’s what I’m talkin’ bout. HOT is right!
I want Super Marketing now, even to aliens and beyond. Oh no, not mere Seth Godin marketing. This is the other worldly Super Hero variety.
I have to admit that your 10 reasons to vote for you in the cage match worked, you got may vote 🙂
Yay! Now who’s with me on the pajama pants? Don’t make me wear ’em alone!!!
Whoa, were was this?? I must have missed the invitation.
Where are these 10 reasons, I keep looking, but haven’t found them yet. LOL
At Immortality and Beyond. http://www.immortylcafe.com/
Camera? Cuffs?
Sold…! Men are sooooo easy.
WOOHOO! I’m taking side bets lol. AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! There is my taunt for the day haha. Are you ready to RUMBLE??????
BK
LOVE it!!! Can you see me flex?
I wonder who you are rooting for Brandy. LOLL!!!!
You’ve got my vote! Have you planned your victory celebration? 😉
Oh yeah! Let’s just make sure I don’t get any wine on my pajama pants!!
Or get any wine on the all important camera.
You know, I’ve always wanted the power to control the elements. I don’t know if you would really consider that a superpower..but it’s what I want 🙂
JaidisShaw at yahoo dot com
Is a Husband an element or merely rock, plant or air?
LOL! Depends on the day of the week…hour of the day?
Yep! In Fierce Dawn its called an elemental. Fire, wind, water, electricity and fire. Which one do you prefer?
I prefer wet; ignore the grocery store rags, men just aren’t that complicated.
I would love to be able to control them all, though I have always been drawn to water 🙂 Though electricity would be nice too. Just imagine being able to give the husband a little jolt when he says he won’t wash the dishes 🙂
See? I think you nailed it. Water kills fire, uses air and conducts electricity. A little dishes cattle prod!
Oops, forgot to mention my superpower–I have to go with retractable claws like Wolverine. Or super speed. I can’t decide.
Claws? Really? Every woman has those when she chooses to flex them. Men don’t stand a chance, but whispering, most women don’t know this.
*gasp* I love Wolverine!!!
Yes, it’s cliche, but my superpower of choice would be the ability to fly! Not only would it be more than cool, but think of all the money I’d save on gas…that I could then spend on books! 😉
gsmack01 at msn dot com
Excellent, Hazel. Would you like wings with that talent or are you more of a superwoman type?
Hmm, I’m thinking more of a superwoman thing. Wings seem like they’d take a bit of effort and I’m feeling far too lazy for that! LoL..
Right on! Cape it is! What color?
I agree with you Hazel..I think wings would be too much work. Us women are already picky enough, don’t need to add wing grooming to the list 🙂
Such a good point. My nose wiggle would have shaved my legs today. Imagine the upkeep of all those feathers! Plus, do we dye them? Probably. Because pink will be in vogue….
Spend on Books. <– I like this! So does my accountant.
Don’t know if it is a Super Power, but I have always wanted the power of invisibility, mwhaahahaha
I guess I should have said in addition, Team Amber here. Giggle
Giggle back…okay, it’s more of a snicker. This is HOT Club official songwriter here, ya’ll! Recognize! 🙂
Without the power of Super Marketing, everyone is invisible. 😉
Imagine the gossip you could get in on! Imagine the men you could catch nakee!!
“catch nakee”,,, some of us will happily drop everything – beware what you wish for.
This is SO going on my TBR list! It looks swoon worthy, and the Bookish Snob had a hot little tidbit that has me convinced!
As for a super power? Hm… If I was telekenetic could I make myself fly? Lol. Because that would be awesome!
nicholechase(dot)author(at)gmail
The Bookish Snob rocks! You can do anything with your super power today. Fun!
Hi Amber! I like the pink boxing gloves! It’s a nice touch! Oh and I see that you have The Hot Club emblems on them! Love it! This is a great Cage Match! I’m sweating just watching you gals duke it out! Good luck!
In answer to your question, I would love to have the power to heal!
cbandy10(at)hotmail(dot)com
Heal… , a tough one for today – a good friend is now in the hospital, yet another surgery!
Ah, yes, the healers among us are vital! Excellent choice!
I would love to be able to heal!
shiderly77(at)yahoo.com
Tough choice of super powers. My iability to choose is probably why I made my heroine a psionicist; she gets to have lots of them.
But if only picking one, I’d go with flght. I’d love telepathy or invulnerability, but nothing can beat flying. Escaping the bonds of earth, and just soaring. Or avoiding traffic. *sighs*
I love the idea of flying, too! Living vicariously as Sadie in Elijah’s arms, skyward, clinging…sigh. Definitely an escape.
hahahaha, some comment systems are painful, Captcha this, log in that. Nothing like something simple to write thousands & thousands.
I’m with you. I like an easy type and go comment system. Plus, I get a serious kick out of the occasional spam that sneaks through. They always adore me so. “I see you have awesome idea in you blog. I share often and intelligent.”
ohhh, you just wait until the Russian spammers find you, or the Chinese. My spam box is impressive… and sad.
Compliments in Russian? Will I hear an accent?
You’ll hear it if you can read it – but that’s what Google Translate if for.
it looks like this:

Aha! Okay. Not nearly as fun as “like you informative blog”.
I love paranormal romances, Amber. Let’s see if I had to pick a superpower it would be to travel anywhere at the blink of an eye.
caity_mack at yahoo dot com
Ohhhh, this is better than a CEO’s private jet. Besides Super Marketing, I’ll take this one too!
Elijah does that! You could be a seeker!
Left a comment on the review over at Para Your Normal.
(great site)
caity_mack at yahoo dot com
Awesome! ParaYourNormal is fabuloso!!
“Signed eBooks” Heads up everyone, technology is going to step in for authors: http://www.autography.us.com/ hehehe, and eeeevil publishers wanting author’s engaging with their customers.
My superpower would be to be able to teleport. Good luck with the cage match.
iqb99@yahoo.com
You’ll love Elijah then! Thanks for the comment aka jab toward the win!
Heh. She hasn’t cracked 100 yet,,, must be the failing comment system.
I’m sorry to have infiltrated your comments today,,, maybe I should help the other team break 100? On second thought,,,
Uh…no! #duhwinning!
I think my favorite review was at Thrillers Rock T – it provided just enough of a teaser to make me really want to read Fierce Dawn, even more than I did before following your blog. I just love a good tease! For a superpower, I would love telepathy with the ability to react and just enough ahead of the bad guy to whoophim! Good luck in the cage and thanks for your efforts.
dz59001@gmail.com
Telepathy! Awesome! Ben is too cool over there at Thrillers Rock T. His man card will never be revoked!
Are you winning yet Amber? I’ve been chatting about your book to people at work today if that counts LOL
Last I checked the other team hasn’t cracked 100 yet. Thanks for stopping by and yes chatting at work is the BEST thing you can do for any writer.
And your Super Power would be?
Oh I commented earlier – I didn’t care as long as I got a yummy alpha male like Elijah and Lyric 🙂
Just facebooked and tweeted again!
Yay!! May they come in droves! Speaking of droves, I’m about to start giving those ebooks away. Squeee!
You know that little nose wiggle from Bewitched where she could do anything with it?
THAT!
Oh gosh I could have fun with that nose wiggle… clothes on… clothes off! Honestly, I’d love to be able to magic myself over to London to see my FAVE singer Ramin Karimloo sing in Love Never Dies. That would be HEAVEN!
I love it! Great dating tool!!
We’re neck and neck as for individual commenters. Comments, though, Killing It!
You SO rock!
Don’t forget to count on my blog… I wasn’t specific enough to send everyone here.. last count – post + review there was 27 comments 🙂 I posted on my book club so hopefully there’ll be more coming…. You own this Amber! Cristyn never stood a chance LOL
Oh YEAH! *to be heard singing* Sweeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!
Sharp elbows, girl. Sharp!
When I think of changelings, I think of Odo in “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.” But he didn’t have the kinds of superpowers that non-changelings do in my soon-to-be published SF series. One of those super powers is the ability to heal quickly from illness or traumatic injury. If women had just a little bit of that super power, they’d put half the doctors in this country out of a job. LOL

A sci-fi? AWESOME Suzanne! I can’t wait to see it!
I haven’t read Fierce Dawn yet, but it’s definitely on my list. Can’t wait!
If I had a power, hmm … I definitely think it would have to be the ability to move objects with my mind. It would make life so much easier when I didn’t want to get up and get the remote! Of course, I would have to use my power for good too. 🙂
Awesomeness, especially if it works on moving the grandson! Imagining what this would do for his productivity…
Let’s apply that to laundry, too, shall we?
Absolutely! Laundry, the remote, the litter box, dishes … I’m totally okay with this idea. 🙂
I feel so guilty! lol I commented on Cristyn’s blog, the free ebook drew me in! Bad me! But I’m commenting again here to make up for it… *hopeful eyes*
Hey do I have to put email address on each individual comment?
shiderly77(at)yahoo.com
Just wondering… Not trying to drive up the post count at all.. nuh uh!
It always helps my momma brain cells to double check! :}
No way! I hope everyone goes over and scores a copy of Plain Jane. It’s superb. Just come back here for MORE fun!!
Sorry Amber, no can do – I have too many books on my plate to Publish.
Pssst. Today is just a warm up, stretch the fingers a bit. #Mancode must never outshine #ChickSpeak
Personally, my motto is: M.A.S.S.
– Men – Are – So – Stupid –
And I try every single day to keep this hidden; most days, I fail with spectacular finesse.
I would love to read someones mind. I am always wondering what people are thinking.
Me, too! Especially back during dating years. Imagine the things we’d hear.
If I could have a superpower it would be telekinesis… not having to get up for a glass of water, or anything else, when you are comfortably reading on the couch. Handy!
Go Amber, I’m rooting for you from across the pond! 😀
wntrrr at gmail.com
Ah, yes! Like having your own maid. But it’s your mind!
I just love it when one of my authors gets a 5 star review and a comment: “I really liked this book, only wish it was longer”
Always remember: Reviewers are Readers = Customers! If they don’t like it, not a future customer, that’s all.
I would love to be able to make a double of myself so that it could go to work and I could stay home and read.
sstrode at scrtc dot com
Ahhhh! Clone power! Clone for dishes. Clone for DMV…love it!
Yea, two companies, twice the fun, the jets, the chocolate.
A stunt double!
This book sounds great! My superpower would be mind reading. Who doesn’t love knowing things they shouldn’t? 😉 Good luck.
Wallywestring(at)gmail.com
I want the superpower of reading minds. I think that could solve a few problems and create a few more. 😉
vlfink(at)msn(dot)com
Hehe. Solve a few, make a few. Fun!
What a great contest! If I could have a superpower it would be mind control. I could make my minions clean my house, cook my food & completely pamper me.
andreat78@yahoo.com
Minions! I need minions! Laundry, dishes, foot rubs, oooohhh the foot rubs I would get.
I’d want superstrength and/or invulnerable from being hurt – those would be cool superpowers 🙂 “Fierce Dawn” sounds like a great book – can’t wait to read it!
smaccall @ comcast.net
Invulnerability would be awesome.
Fierce Dawn is on its way to your inbox…..NOW!
I think it would be fun to be invisible. It’s not that I’d constantly want to spy on people, but I could do a lot of different things and no one could see me.
I’m baaaack… lol Went out for hot wings and games of pool. Thought of another super power I want! I would love the super power to zap myself skinny!
crud. forgot again
shiderly77(at)yahoo.com
Hot wings and pool! My kind of Monday!
If you get that power, you and me, millions doll. We can make it happen.
Amber, I love seeing your competitive streak.
I want the super power of super energy. Why waste time sleeping;)
LOL, one of my authors has this and now I’m forced into it too; or fail to keep up. NOT manlike.
She has an insane goal; Love the woman, even when it impacts my sleep. 😉
From what I’ve read, Amber’s competitive streak has a wine driven component. Good thing she’s not in Sonoma or Napa Valley.
I grew up 20 minutes from Calistoga, CA so I understand completely the sensuous nature of harvest season, and the resulting glass of nectar.
It does. Wine brings out the dark side. Mwa haha *cough*. Okay, maybe more the slur side.
I can be a bit of a scrappah! (Husband Boston accent included)
Oh, man I hear that super power. I am guilty of being jealous of insomniacs. Awful, right?
To be honest, I already have one super power. I can stop conversations dead with a mere, innocuous comment. Therefore, what I’d like to add to my arsenal is the power to incite conversation with the wave of a word. It would be fun to interchange them … stop, go, stop, go… 😉
Oh, whoops. email addy: susan@susanschreyer.com
Susan!! Thanks mucho for coming by today!
I love it. Like a puppeteer, only no strings!
Comment 216! Go Amber!
Hey, mamacita! Thanks for throwing down!
If I could have a superpower, it’d be invisibility. Sometimes, maybe for an hour every night I’d love to hide from the kids and hubs and just read! Or snoop on my neighbors! Hee hee.
Oh the fun you could have!!
Hmmm! How I could I pick just one superpower. Okay maybe superspeed (I have been watching too much No Ordinary Family) that would be awesome to have the speed to get everything done in less than half the time so I can spend more time reading 🙂
I haven’t read any of your books yet, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. So i’m excited to read them 🙂
neri0724@gmail.com (that’s a zero)
Superspeed would rock. I’ll have to check out No Ordinary Family. I love the power in the Incredibles. Dash has it and what a cute name to go with it!
I would love the power to transport myself and others anywhere. I love to travel and just to be there without that long flight would be fabulous.
My email is: Tammie.King@gmail.com
Hi, Tammie! You will get to live vicariously in Fierce Dawn! Yay!
I would love to have super speed or teleportation.. that would be AWESOME!!
Heck, do both! Thanks for coming to play!
Because I’m HOT!
jgrissum AT msn DOT com
HOT you are! 🙂
This book sounds wonderful! Great cover too! I posted over at the Bookish Snob’s blog – I just love her reviews 🙂 The excerpt she posted on her blog of Fierce Dawn was sooo swoonworthy ::sigh::
If I could have a super power, I think I would want money to appear in my hand (or bank account) any time I like. They say that money can’t buy happiness, but I wouldn’t have to worry about bills – and I could buy all the books my heart desires! Nothing gives me more happiness than reading!
Of course I would be a Vamp. No brainer there. 🙂 This book is awesome, everyone should get it and love it as much as we did.
Love you Amber! xoxoxox
Ooh, I would have to go with teleportation. Fierce Dawn sounds like my kind of book! I’m very anxious to read it.
ljszab at yahoo dot com
If I could have any superpower it would be telekinesis because this one power can give a multitude of abilities. I just read your book love lust and loved it. Would love to read Fierce Dawn, have already glanced at the sample and am intrigued!
I read Bookish Snobs review and am even more excited to read Fierce Dawn! I commented on her amazing reviewing skills and how amazing the book sounds!
Amber,
I’m sooo sorry I didn’t get to vote for Fierce Dawn. (Worked late and totally forgot to go online. PLEASE, forgive me?!!)
The premise of Fierce Dawn grabbed my attention immediately. The cover is stunning. I just sooo want to read Fierce Dawn!
If I had changeling powers, I’d want the ability to become invisible. That’s how you’d learn a person’s true character. Integrity is what you do when no one’s watching!!!
ReneeRearden(at)yahoo(dot)com
Hey, no worries! I’m glad you came by today so I can get you Fierce Dawn. Just got a five sheep review at I Smell Sheep, too! Baaaaa!
If I could have a superpower, it would be super speed. I would become so efficient! I can’t wait to read Fierce Dawn.
Super efficiency would be killer, eh? Some days even semi-efficiency sounds good. Thanks for commenting!
Okay, so i have to confess I can’t get beyond the book cover of Fierce Dawn – I’m already sucked in. I could stare at that cover for hours!
Margay, you and me both. Those abs! The tortured hero emanating off of him. He’s SO Elijah.
I think I’d definitely go with telekinesis, though the super speed suggestions are nice. And I completely agree that the cover alone was enough to hook me. mandaj07 at gmail dot com
The cover is rather delish, isn’t it? I catch myself staring often. Thanks for coming to play!
I would have to pick being telekinetic. I could keep everything out of my son’s reach without chasing him everywhere, and all without leaving my books!!
Oh, the help that would be in those toddler years! Thanks for commenting!
After spending 13 hours on a greyhound bus, I would love to be able to teleport. Looking forward to reading this book. Thank you!
Surviving a greyhound for that long might be a super power in itself! You’ll dig the travel of choice in this one, methinks. 🙂
So many options… actually flipped a coin to decide so I’m going with prognostication
Oh, I like it. Unique and telling.
forgot to add email – sorry 🙂

I need to be a seeker…maoreo@hotmail.com
Me, too! Thanks so much!
I’m never exactly sure what superpower I’d pick, given the chance… My answer seems to change every time I think it over! For now, I guess I’ll go with telepathy. 🙂
I really look forward to reading your book; please send it/its-coupon-code to etitameh[at]q[dot]com — thanks!
Telepathy would really help me understand what my husband was thinking when __________. Hehe. Fill in blank at will. (farted, skipped the dishes, missed the trash.) Love him, though!
I would love to read your book! Paranormal romances are my favorites!!
Good luck with the contests and thank you!!
Thanks mucho! I’m with you. I love me some paranormals, from ghosts to zombies. Bring it on.
I haven’t read “Fierce Dawn” yet but I love paranormal books and this one sounds great! As for superpowers, that is really, really tough. I like someone else’s idea of superspeed, especially if that included me being able to super speed-read. That way I could catch up on all my backlog of books to read. There are just way too many great books out there and way too little time.
Super speed read! Awesome! As long as it still feels like a long, memorable read, right? Thanks for commenting!
Kudos for bringing readers characters and stories in which they can immerse totally! There is nothing better than a fantastical read that takes a reader outside themselves. As for superpowers: Regeneration. Then no matter what happened, the body would fix itself.
That’s the first pick for regeneration! Excellent power, for sure. Very handy in battle.
Superpower? Easy choice — time travel.
Why didn’t I think of time travel?! Would it be the kind to fix the past or just to see how it all went down kind of thing?
My superpower would have to be teleportation – AWESOME!!!
Thank you!!
jallen3210 at att dot net
I’m loving it! You, too, get to vicariously teleport with Elijah and Sadie. So cool!
My superpower would be invisibility! Would love it and the ebook! jtalbottreads at yahoo dot com
Aw, yes, you can actually be the fly on the wall. It’s on the way!
I was going to ask for invisibility as my superpower, but after browsing through the other requests, I realize that I really need teleportation. No matter how much our transportation methods improve, it’s never faster enough for me. Thus ebooks are the perfect solution to pass the wait time (but not while I’m driving). Can’t wait for my copy of Fierce Dawn, I want it now!
Teleporatation is up high on my list. You’ll get to teleport vicariously with Elijah!
I think superspeed would be the best superpower to have. I could do everything, just superfast! Also, it would make the things I don’t like to do less painless. Because you can tolerate anything for a few minutes (exercise, anyone)…
Looking forward to reading Fierce Dawn. Its been quite awhile since I’ve read a good paranormal romance.
Stefanie647 at msn dot com.
Yep. Superspeed would rock. Get chores done in a flash and lounge the day away reading.
I would love to be able to fly – no more planes
looking forward to reading this –
thank you
I’d choose invisibility so I can sneak up on my enemies 😀 Looking forward to reading your book!
My default superpower wish is omnipotence. I’m a cheater.
FatesTwists AT yahoo DOT com
I think my superpower would be to posess all superpowers :). I am so looking forward to reading this one!
kittycrochettwo at msn dot com
I would have the ability to transform myself into anything I wanted! Please send ebook to dolcezzina21 at aol dot com! Thanks!
I’d like super speed as a superpower. Just think how many books I could read.
roxburysnoopy-blogtourdeforce at yahoo DOT com
I look forward to reading this I’m always a sucker for a new series 🙂 especially paranormals
historyofcoolbeans at gmail dot com
I love a good series, too! Can’t wait to hear what you think. 🙂
I believe I would choose telekenesis as my superpower. I don’t really want to know the future before it happens (I already have enought to worry about!), and I am not that interested in hearing what everyone thinks (TMI!).
LOL on the TMI, thing. It is the one thing I fear. Knowing the truth, right? Thanks for coming by and commenting!
I just discovered this tour de force today. Good luck on your writing career! I hope it’s not too late to get a copy.
I’m sure I can work something out. Thanks for commenting!
I think I may be late, too, but I’m hoping I can get a copy as well. If I had to pick one super-power, it would be flight.
See? Now I have got to include you on the ebook. Fierce Dawn will give you wings.
I’d love a copy of Fierce Dawn. 🙂 My super power would be stopping time so I could get more done in a day. Thanks!
tuffbeinglt AT yahoo DOT com
Okay, Laura. You get that power, can you share it with me? I need to get a ton done!
Hi Amber! I think if I could have a super power I’d like to be telepathic. Or psychic. If that counts. I’m excited to read your book. The reviews are excellent. Good luck!
I’m thrilled over the reviews. It’s the best feeling ever when someone else ‘gets’ it, you know? Telepathy would be a lot of fun, methinks.
Haven’t read it yet BUT looking forward to it…right up my alley! Not sure what superpower I would want…need to know what options I have!
Whatever power you want! Don’t hold back.
Haven’t read it yet, but am also really looking forward to it – as for super powers, I’m one for teleportation 😀
I’m with you on teleportation! Elijah has that power and I love living through him with it.
I am also a fan of these books!
I would love to have the power of invisibility.
🙂
It’s the fly on the wall power, right? All the gossip you could get in on.
Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!!!!!!!!! No wait….Wrong website. Sorry. I wanna fly and read minds!! Oh My, sounds like an awesome read! skilmer at nb dot sympatico dot ca Kindle style!!
You’ll get to live vicariously a bit with both of those in Fierce Dawn! Awesome!
I’d have to go with stopping time like someone else already suggested. That would be great.
Email is pam933 AT gmail DOT com
Stopping time would be amazing. I could get soooo much done!
Hi there,
I would like to have a copy of your book, I’m always looking for new authors. My super power would be “to heal”.
Pinky,
pink.maiden@yahoo.com
Awesome! Thanks for coming by!
We definitely need our healers. Awesome!
Just the cover of this book piques my interest. I am always looking for new authors to read and can’t wait to discover your stories!
As for a superpower…hmmm…maybe teleportation or superstrength. Is there a superpower that can make you instantly healthy??? Would love a power that took away all health problems and pain (have bad knees).

After reading this review, I can’t wait to read this book!
“Have you ever heard the expression, “paint a picture with words”? Well, Amber can go beyond the normal picture painting. This woman’s written words paint a whole darn movie.” —– This really sold me on wanting to read this book. I love stories with word-painting, so this is perfect! Can’t wait to read!

After reading this review, I really can’t wait to read your book!!!!
