Uh-oh: ‘Threshold’ Was A TV Series…

Well, folks, Threshold was a CBS television series. It only lasted a year but, still. Shouldn’t I  retitle my latest screenplay?

Here are my latest titles in the running so far:

Negative Space

Shadows or Light and Shadow or Shadowed

Soul Thief

All ideas, suggestions, comments, and such welcome! The screenplay is: A former jock’s near death tragedy has left him with gifts he’d rather give back. He doesn’t just see dead people, he feels them, too. When he becomes too closely involved with a band of trapped spirits, who will save his soul?

Think Lost Boys meets Sixth Sense.

  1. I say stick with Threshold. It’s a catchy title, but broad enough that it won’t bring to mind the TV series. It’s not like you’ve titled it Return of the Jedi. Threshold has been a title probably many times and it will be used many times again… eventually. But if there aren’t really any projects in recent memory title Threshold, go for it.

  2. I agree with Mike.

Although, I was working on a novel titled “Legion” about a fallen angels and their battle with humans… and guess what movie just came out recently! I hadn’t even heard about the dang movie when I started the book. 😦

Kate, this happened to me with Lie to Me, the show Cupid, Wanted, The Last Templar. The list goes on. Just consider it a sign that you are tapped in and on the right track!
